Sourced from their Veeder Summit Vineyard at 2,000 feet, this is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Estate Grown, P&amp;B in Napa 14.5% $36 at the winery and a gift to the class from the SFCWC <a title=\"Hess\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hesscollection.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hess<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>V. Sattui Winery, Napa Valley, Mt. Veeder, Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 <\/strong>The fruit in this wine has a jammy character and is enhanced by the smell of newly split oak. It&#8217;s also developed some bottle bouquet, adding complexity while in the mouth it is quite tight and gripping. P&amp;B in St. Helena 14% $40 at the winery for the current release &#8217;06, a gift to the class from the SFCWC <a title=\"V. Sattui\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vsattui.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">V. Sattui Winery<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mayacamas, Mt. Veeder &#8211; Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 <\/strong>Cedar and green herbs mark the nose upon first smelling this wine. In the mouth it is quite dense, fully packed with fruit, big in structure and very long &#8211; nice and just a baby at this point in time.
