The mouth shows lots of caramel and nuttiness, like crunching up some almonds, wrapping them in milk chocolate and basting them with caramel. It&#8217;s appropriately warm with lingering acidity &#8211; a very nice Tawny style of Port from Napa. The wine was aged in 130 gallon Portuguese pipes for 8 years. Winemaker Terrence Dewane. Produced and bottled in Napa 18.6% $18 for a 375ml bottle at the winery.
