In the mouth you&#8217;ll find the characteristic Merlot suppleness, with nice density, a healthy kiss of oak and a lingering creaminess. The grapes for this wine are 100% Merlot and were sourced from vineyards in American Canyon, Carneros, Yountville and Calistoga. The wine was aged for 18 months in a combo of large and smalll Frenchy oak, 20% of which was new.
