In the mouth this light-bodied wine has refreshing acidity with a nice glaze of sweet caramel. A large portion of the fruit is sourced from Monterey&#8217;s Santa Lucia Highlands. P&amp;B in Healdsburg 13.5% $23 suggested retail<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p><strong>MacMurray Ranch, Sonoma Coast, Pinot Noir 2007 <\/strong>In the nose is a fair amount of gaminess for those who want a walk on the wilder side of the ranch. This is complemented by brown spices and baked cherry pie. In the mouth the wine is light-bodied and meaty, reminiscent of some of the more appropriately bretty Burgundys that we all enjoy. The wine was aged in a combination of new and used oak, French, American and Eastern European for about 6 months. Winemaker Susan Doyle.
