This flight features two regions that embrace this variety, Mendocino County&#8217;s Anderson Valley and sunny Alsace in the eastern reaches of France.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Handley Anderson Valley Gewurztraminer 2006<\/strong><br \/>\nThis wine radiates roses and parfume, in a light-bodied format with a hint of RS, classic touch of bitterness and a little warmth when up to room temperature. P&amp;B in Philo 14.2% $13.99 at Bottle Barn<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.handleycellars.com\" title=\"Handley\"> Handley<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Domaine Zind Humbrecht Alsace Gewurztraminer 2005<\/strong><br \/>\nThe previous bottle of this wine that I opened a few months ago was textbook perfect &#8211; fragrant with rose and low acidity in the mouth &#8211; a big white wine.\u00a0 Again in September this wine showed a similar profile with some sweet candy smells and a touch of RS.\u00a0 There is also the classic touch of bitterness and some warmth.
