The mouth sports great acidity to frame the fruit, making this Bordeaux-style blend a natural for a dinner table laden with cinghale &#8211; yummy just thinking about it. This is the second wine of the famous Super Tuscan estate on the Tuscan coast. The grapes behind the wine are 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. The component wines aged in barriques for 15 months and 25% of the barrels were new. After the assemblage, the wine aged another 3 months in oak and 6 months in bottle.
