The wine was aged in French oak, 24% of it new. P&amp;B in Solvang 14.2% $22 at the winery <a title=\"Lincourt\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lincourtwines.com\" target=\"_blank\">Lincourt<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Roth Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2005<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Black fruit in a cigar box with structure to last. Sporting the expertise of the same people at Lancaster, this is the value-leaning brand of the house. 15% Merlot augments the Cabernet which is all aged in French oak for 1.5 years, 30% of which is new.
