Yet what is dry is not one thing, as we see in the case of these two dry white wines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benziger Sonoma Valley MacLeod Family Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2006<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is crisp citrus in a bottle. The Benziger family is a leaders in sustainable practices and encourages a similar care for the environment amongst all of their growers. The grapes were whole cluster pressed and then treated only to stainless steel. P&amp;B in Glen Ellen 13.9% $19 at the winery <a title=\"Benziger\" href=\"http:\/\/www.benziger.com\" target=\"_blank\">Benziger<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Molnar Family Carneros-Napa Valley Poseidon&#8217;s Vineyard Chardonnay 2006<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rich and viscous. Barrel fermented and aged in Hungarian oak, this Chardonnay was also treated to malolactic for added richness. Winemaker Michael Blaise Terrien.
