In the mouth, there is racy acidity, the zip of lime juice and an added creamy complexity. The flavor goes on very long and is just delicious. There is a reminder of the honey-like character that comes out in aged Hunter Semillon, a sense of richness without sweetness and acidic nerve ever-present.<\/p>\n<p>This wine was harvested at the earlier picking level of kabinett and then vinified dry and thus sports the word trocken on the label.\u00a0 Drinking this elicits a fond memory of visiting the estate in Kiedrich years ago. Weil is a top producer and shows their care for quality in even their inexpensive bottlings.<a href=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/robert-weil.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2259]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2261 alignright\" title=\"robert-weil\" src=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/robert-weil.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After 10 years, this wine is not on the downhill side of the hill but rather on a peak that will last.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not sorry we drank it but I do wish that I had more of it to enjoy. This was the last of a case that I had purchased for a pittance some years ago at K&amp;L.\u00a0 Erzeugerabfullung in Kiedrich 11% $??
