The mouth is full-on richness with oak essence and butter layered over peaches and green apples &#8211; very nice. The wine received all of the bells and whistles from the winemaker, including battonage\u00a0 as well as ML for 50% of the wine; 85% was barrel fermented and then aged in a combination of new (30%) and used oak for a further 9 months.
