With time the fruit comes through and the funk blows off but will everyone wait? Many in the class gave up on this and rightly so. Yes there are funky smells that clean up, but to dominate this excessively is uncalled for in commercial wine. In the mouth it is fruity and a little viscous without being cloying. This is a richer style of Roussillon, lower in acidity than the average.
