The sense of pipe tobacco follows through in the mouth ripe red fruits and the structure that you expect in Bordeaux. There is great balance between all of the parameters and while drinkable now, this would soften considerably with at least 8 years more in your cellar. The estate is planted to 77% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, age over 30 years. The wines is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 60% new. Proprietor Bernard Magrez.
