There is an inexpensive Macon, a more formidable Puligny and lastly a Chablis with some age on it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les Heritiers du Comte Lafon Macon 2006<\/strong><br \/>\nThis wine embodies the citrus side of Chardonnay with a light body and plenty of acidity. Produced from biodynamically grown grapes in the Macon and overseen by Dominique Lafon, star of Meursault. Mis in Milly-Lamartine 14% $18.99 at K&amp;L <a title=\"Comtes Lafon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.comtes-lafon.fr\" target=\"_blank\">Comtes Lafon<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Paul Pernot Puligny-Montrachet 2006<\/strong><br \/>\nIn late &#8217;07 I wrote:\u00a0 This is absolutely an oak bomb yet the oak is supported by dense core of extract and lots of racy acidity &#8211; a wine that is rich while refreshing. Now in September of &#8217;08, there&#8217;s a nutty complexity coming on in the nose. In the mouth the acidity, while still there, is softening into a rounder wine. Mis in Puligny by Paul Pernot et ses fils Michel and Paul 14.2% $37.99 at Bottle Barn <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Domaine Daniel-Etienne Defaix Chablis Premier Cru Vaillon 1999<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is full of nuttiness &#8211; a very complex wine with notes of minerality and earth with long acidity. M.
