The fruit comes through in the mouth with a caress of acidity and a little bit of richness &#8211; very nice. The grapes were sourced from the Lila Lane and Clarbec Vineyards. 33% of the wine was fermented in new French oak. P&amp;B in Glen Ellen by B.R. Cohn 13.9% $10.99 at Bottle Barn <a title=\"Clarbec\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarbecwines.com\" target=\"_blank\">Clarbec<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Valley of the Moon, Sonoma Coast, Chardonnay 2007 <\/strong>The oak stands out in the nose and creates a rich effect in the mouth where the acidity is on the softer side. P&amp;B in Glen Ellen 13.5% $8.99 at Bottle Barn <a title=\"Valley of the Moon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.valleyofthemoonwinery.com\" target=\"_blank\">Valley of the Moon<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thumbprint Cellars, Dry Creek Valley, Preston Vineyard, Viognier 2007 <\/strong>Peaches on steriods just jumped out of the glass back in October &#8217;08. Further on in April &#8217;09, the alcohol is starting to get ahead of the fruit, not replacing it but definitely competing for attention. The mouth is full-bodied, still fruity, and lowish in acid.
