Glen Ellen, California, Reserve Pinot Grigio 2008 It’s not terribly aromatic and it is a bit spiritous but it’s fairly dry and acidic and perfect for making a Kir. And the price is affordable. Vinted and Bottle no where near Glen Ellen, in Livermore and Ripon, CA 12% $3.59 at Bottle Barn

This flight provides some noticeable contrast in PG styles. The Shaky Bridge has a bit of onion-skin color and herbaceous characters with some of that BO we associate with Sauvignon. The Albrecht Alsatian is quite rounded and lower in acidity. The Hui has great depth of flavor.
